Plain-language answers about what we collect and how it's used. Effective July 1, 2026.
The short version
East Coast Expeditions is a small, veteran-owned rental business. We collect only what we need to answer your questions and handle your rental. We don't sell your information, we don't run ad trackers, and this website doesn't set cookies of its own.
What we collect, and where it goes
Contact form
When you use the form on our contact page, you provide your name, email address, optional trip dates, and your message. The form is processed byFormspree (our form provider) and delivered to our business email. We use it only to respond to you.
Bookings
Reservations and checkout are handled by Booqable, our booking system (checkout runs on checkout.eastcoastexpeditions.com). Booqable collects the information needed to process your reservation and payment; payments are processed by Booqable's payment provider — we never see or store your card number. Booqable's own privacy policy applies to data processed on their platform.
Email and phone
If you email or call us directly, we keep that correspondence so we can help you with your rental.
Website hosting & analytics
This site is served by Cloudflare. Like most hosting providers, Cloudflare processes standard technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless tool that gives us aggregate visit counts — it doesn't use cookies, fingerprinting, or cross-site tracking, and it doesn't build profiles of individual visitors. We don't run advertising trackers.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry emails and booking records only as long as needed to serve you and meet our legal and accounting obligations, then delete them.
What we don't do
- We don't sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
- We don't send marketing emails you didn't ask for.
- We don't use advertising trackers or cross-site cookies.
Your choices
Want to know what we have on file about you, or want it deleted? Emailinfo@eastcoastexpeditions.com and we'll take care of it. For data held by Booqable or Formspree, we'll help you route the request to them too.
Changes
If we ever add analytics or change providers, we'll update this page and its effective date.
